What is the difference between a complaint and a return?

In principle, both processes involve returns, but for different reasons. If a product does not arrive in perfect condition with your customers, we are talking about a manufacturing defect, which clearly constitutes a complaint. This includes obvious misprints, incorrect garment sizes, faulty designs, or products. In such cases, we naturally handle the processing of the complaint. You can find further conditions and instructions on what to do in the case of a complaint here.

If, on the other hand, the customer does not like the color or the size does not fit, it is a return. As the operator of the shop, you establish the return conditions for your shop and coordinate the returns with the customers. In this case, returns are your responsibility. Printegy supports you in handling returns with a simple and efficient returns management. To benefit from this, you should activate this option in the Printegy app. When your customers send back returns, we store them and resend them when a matching order is received. Learn more about returns management here.

If you have any questions about both processes, feel free to contact our support team via email at hello@printegy.de!
