What should I consider when designing for mug printing?
All of our mugs are printed using sublimation technology, regardless of whether they are ceramic, enamel, stainless steel, or glitter mugs. This technique allows for vibrant and durable prints on the surface of the mugs.
What colors can be printed on mugs?
When it comes to color selection, it's important to note that sublimation technology does not support white and light colors. This is a limitation common to this printing process. Therefore, it's advisable to avoid using white or light colors when designing mugs, as they may not appear well on the mug surface.
Tip: However, there's a trick to overcome this issue if you absolutely need to use white colors in your design. Simply use white mugs and leave the areas in the design that should be white blank. However, the omitted "empty" areas should be circled or surrounded by another color. This way, the background remains white while other colors can be printed using sublimation technology.
