Specifics of Printing on Zip Hoodies

One of the most popular products in our range is zip hoodies. At Printegy, you can have them printed not only traditionally on the left or right chest, like with other PoD providers, but also centrally on the front.

However, zip hoodies present particular challenges when it comes to printing, especially on the front. The cover over the zipper and the uneven surface can cause the print to appear slightly uneven at times. At Printegy, we use a special zipper plate to ensure the design is applied as evenly as possible.

Nevertheless, it is possible that slight irregularities in the print may occur near the zipper. This is due to the fabric being slightly raised by the zipper in that area. Keep this in mind when designing to achieve the best possible result. If you want to be absolutely sure, we recommend choosing designs that do not extend over the zipper. Alternatively, you might consider designs that consciously incorporate small irregularities as a creative element.
